Welcome to our MMA coloring pages for kids to print and color.

Mixed Martial Arts, or MMA, is a sport where fighters combine different martial arts like striking, grappling, and submissions. Today, MMA is a global sport with events like the UFC, but its roots go back thousands of years. Fighters can use punches, kicks, throws, and holds, making each match exciting and unpredictable.

Most of our coloring pages show a single fighter, so you can focus on their amazing moves, cool outfits, and training skills. A few pages show two fighters facing off so use your judgement when sharing with very young kids, but even then, you can keep the emphasis on technique and sportsmanship rather than fighting in anger.

Early Roots: Pankration and Ancient Fighting
The first mixed-style fights were seen in ancient Greece with pankration, a mix of boxing and wrestling. Fighters could punch, kick, or grapple to win. Similar mixed-fighting competitions existed in ancient Egypt, India, and China. These early contests were the start of combining different skills into one sport.

Fun fact: Pankration means “all powers” in Greek!

I wouldn't recommend using this page with young children. I feel it's too violent but have included it as it shows the strength and determination fighters need to face the octagon.
