Men in Boxing
Many male champions have become stars worldwide. Fighters like Mike Tyson, Sugar Ray Leonard, and Floyd Mayweather showed incredible skill, strength, and strategy in the ring.

Fun fact: Mike Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion in history at just 20 years old!

Women in Boxing
Women have been boxing for over a century, and today stars like Claressa Shields, Katie Taylor, and Laila Ali compete at the highest level. Women’s boxing is now an Olympic sport and part of major championships.

Amateur Boxing

Training

The Boxing Ring

Boxing in the Movies
Boxing has inspired many stories and movies over the years. One of the most famous boxing heroes is Rocky Balboa, the underdog from Philadelphia who trains hard and never gives up. His story shows determination, courage, and the heart of a true fighter.

Other films, like Million Dollar Baby, Creed, and Raging Bull, also show the skill, discipline, and challenges of boxing. These stories often highlight hard work, training, and sportsmanship, teaching lessons about perseverance and respect.

Pokemon
Some Pokémon fight with styles that look a lot like boxing! Hitmonchan is the best-known, using quick jabs, hooks, and uppercuts with its powerful fists. Other Pokémon like Machamp and Conkeldurr also throw strong, punch-like moves.

Fun fact:Hitmonchan wears gloves that look just like a real boxer’s — perfect for sparring in the Pokémon world!
